Wish you all a happy Karthigai! Please take a look at the bottom of the page for an animated version of a Karthigai kolam (you may have to click twice on the left most square button to get it going). I've included a Puffed-balls recipe at the request of a newly married friend/ikolam member.

Hi Ladies, what do you make at home for Karthigai-neivedhyam (apart from pori udundai)? Please post the recipes, when ever you find time. I'm sure some of the people will find them helpful. The number of my email-requests for such things are going up day by day!!

Jagadha, it is nice to be "talking" to you after a long time
Kitty is the biggest scardy cat of all, and it is stuck in some corner of California. It would be much happier roaming around the streets of Mylapore especially during Margazhi, but I guess it is not lucky enough!
Oh well, cats do have 9 lives, don't they?
