Earth Day is now observed on April 22, in all the countries on Earth. I'm sure many of us have taken a step, inspired to make a difference, however small it may be. Planting seeds and plants has been on our minds for a while now, since it is springtime where we live. And that's exactly what we've done - planted Marigolds, Dusty Miller, and some daisies too. Our simple acts for Earth day.
So, hope you wouldn't mind sharing what you did?

Hi Lata. I am very happy to read about this. On the Earth Day, at our office we formed a committee which works for implementing "Go Green" Concept. This commitee will work to save the earth. We have planned many programs which involve - creating awareness in our staff, display of slogans on all our packing materials we use, on our despatch vehicle(ours is a dairy organisation), plant trees ( to start with minimum 100-200), save electricity, fuel and water. Replacing electricity by Solar power. Since we use lot many paper, we decide to follow - Reduce, Reuse and Recycle of paper by - "Printing if only necessary, reuse the used paper for draft copies and for working, and use recycled paper product like visiting cards, greeting cards, note pads, napkins etc etc. I am coordinating this and working for this forming a team of 10 members to start. WWish me all the success and lets all work towards saving our MOTHER EARTH. SHE BADLY NEEDS US NOW.
