I used rice paste to do this huge alpana.It is totally freehand and I just kept expanding , as there was so much space available.

This is a typical bengali style kolam which the Bengalis call it as Alpona

I was just looking at the pictures of Dussera celebrations in Bengal and i saw the rangolis made by bengali's, they are very intricate and geometrical and I tried the simplest of them on MS paint:-).
